Samuel D. Cagle

Mr. Samuel D. “Sam” Cagle, 64, of Sylvester died Monday April 1, 2013 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday April 5, 2013 at Lakeside Baptist Church in Albany with Rev. Ken Chancellor officiating.
Mr. Cagle was born on August 7, 1948 in Rockwood, TN to the late Samuel Gordon and Helen Ruby Wright Cagle. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and lived in Worth County since 1985. Mr. Cagle retired from Miller/Coors as an electrician and was a member of the I.A.M. 2699. He was a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church. Mr. Cagle enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves. He was good at working with his hands.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Sizemore Odom Cagle of Sylvester; children, Kelly Blankenship of WI; Donna Cotton of WI; Brady Cagle of Lee County and Amy Cagle of Dougherty County; step-children, Donna Odom Pope of Sylvester, Tammy Odom Britt of Sylvester and Jamey Odom of Sylvester; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren; brothers, David Cagle, Daryl Cagle and Doyle Cagle, sister, Patsy Padgett all of  Tennessee.
For those desiring memorials may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church, 2806 N. Jefferson St. Albany, GA., 31707.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:30 until service hour at the church.
