Mrs. Sophia Wade Dixon, 48, of Worth County, died on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at her residence. The graveside service was held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Thompson officiated.
Mrs. Dixon was born on June 1,1970, in Worth County to John Wesley Wade, Jr. and Gwendolyn Paulette Headrick Wade. She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was a graduate of the Worth County High School. Mrs. Dixon attended New Hope Full Gospel Church, and enjoyed reading, painting and attending church.
Survivors include her son, Joseph Dixon; daughter, Priscilla Dixon; parents, John Wesley Wade, Jr. and Gwendolyn Paulette Headrick Wade; brothers, John Wesley Wade III, Paul James Wade, Shawn Michael Joseph Wade, sister, Marylyn Mae Paulette Wade. Mrs. Dixon is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
