In a press release issued on April 7th, weather permitting, the state Route 32 Flint River boat ramp is scheduled to close for about half a day. The contractor will be bringing in a concrete pump truck for a deck pour on the new bridge under construction. Construction to replace the SR 32 and overflow bridges began in 2013. The $9.8 million project is scheduled to be finished at the end of the year.
The date of closure is scheduled to commence on April 15th from 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The closure location is SR 32 Flint River boat ramp at the Lee/Worth County line.
