For those saltwater anglers that enjoy the thrill of going after those challenging red snapper, here’s some interesting and exciting info.
Anglers will be able to fish the Federal Waters of the south Atlantic from midnight August 23 until midnight August 25. Fisherman can harvest one snapper per day regardless of size.
The reason for this short season is determined by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. (NOAA). In years past if conditions were favorable, the season could be longer. Some years no season has been made available.
