Worth County High School Graduation Ceremony Takes Place This Saturday


The Worth County High School Graduation Ceremony will take place Saturday, May 25, 8:00 a.m. at the WCHS football stadium.
In the event of rain, the graduation ceremony will be held in the WCHS gym at 11:00 a.m.
Due to limited seating in the gym, each senior will receive four admission tickets if this occurs.
Seniors should arrive at the football stadium by 7:00 a.m. for line-up and last minute instructions.
The graduation dress code is as follows:
Girls: black dress (NO STRAPLESS), black dress shoes (NO FLIP FLOPS).
Dress should not be seen outside of gown.
Boys: white dress shirt, dark tie (preferably with some black in pattern), black dress slacks,
black socks, and black dress shoes (NO FLIP FLOPS).
There will be a professional photographer and videographer present at the graduation ceremony.
Video/DVD order forms will be given to each senior in advance. You will also have the opportunity to order
these before the ceremony at the stadium gate. Photography will be handled via e-mail or mail. Photographs
may be made from the stands during the ceremony, but no one will be allowed on the track
for this purpose. Behavior at the graduation ceremony should reflect the dignity of the ceremony. Graduates
should remain in their seats until their specified time for participation. Parents and guest should respect
the right of others to hear their senior’s name called, and should remain quiet throughout the ceremony.
