Robert McGough

Mr. Robert B. “ Bobby” McGough, 67, of Sylvester died Saturday October 10, 2015 at his residence.

The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Liberty Hill Church Cemetery. The Rev. Randolph Pate and Bobby Joe Brown officiated.

Mr. McGough was born in Albany Georgia on January 14, 1948 to the late Ernest Morris and Gladys Lucille Blankenship McGough. Mr. McGough has lived in Worth County most his life. He worked as a self employed carpenter and a member of the Gordy Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. McGough enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering on things around his house.

Survivors include his wife Diane Toller McGough of Sylvester; son Todd McGough (Felicia) of Bainbridge; daughter Tammy McGough Miller (Jerone Roberts) of Thomasville;

Brothers C.A McGough of Bridgeboro, Tally McGough (Christy) of Poulan; sisters, Catherine M. Allen of Saraland, AL., Nell M. New (David) of Mobile, AL., Joann M. Lawton (Jimmy) of Reynoldsburg, OH. Lucy E. New (Tommy) of Charleston, SC; and 5 grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Jay Pate, William Cobbs, Jason Welch, Mitch Pate, Doug Roy, Johnny Hernandez, his nephews served as honorary pallbearers.
