Press Release issued by the Sylvester Police Department on September 10th:
On the evening of September 7, 2014 the Sylvester Police Department responded to the report of an Armed Robbery at 112 Carmen Lane in Sylvester. At this time, the Sylvester Police Department is asking for help in locating a person of interest in regards to this case. The Sylvester Police Department is attempting to locate Randy Lee Barney. Barney’s last known address was in Dougherty County but also has ties and family in the Sylvester area. Anyone with information on the location of Barney is asked to contact the Sylvester Police Department as soon as possible.
