Flora Perry Conger, 94, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Tifton. Her funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Justin Devereaux officiating. Mrs. Conger was laid to rest at TyTy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Friday, April 10 at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Shane Conger, Auden Conger, Calvin Perry, and Keith Perry served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Richard Richter, Randall Richter, and Tommy Conger.
Mrs. Conger was born on July 2, 1920 in Colquitt County, the daughter of Thorton D. Perry and Adella Davis Perry, both deceased. She was also preceeded in death by her husband, George Jack Conger; and a brother, J.P. Perry. She was a retired seamstress from Warner Brothers Corporation in Moultrie. She was a member of Pine Level Freewill Baptist Church in Worth County.
Mrs. Conger is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Dolores Conger of Tifton; and two grandchildren, Shane Conger and Auden Conger.
