John Thomas Dailey

Mr. John Thomas Dailey, Jr., 49, of Sylvester died Monday August 12, 2013 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, NC.
Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. on Friday August 16, 2013 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Hillcrest Cemetery with the Rev Matt Greene officiating.
Pallbearers were: Clay Robison, Dean Shelton, Terry Oliver, Jack Sutherland, Darren Smith, Charlie Binns, Chad Dailey and Christopher Smith.
Mr. Dailey was born on May 1, 1964 to John Thomas Dailey, Sr. and Bessie Elizabeth Meeks in La Grange, KY. He enjoyed spending time with his children, listening to music and computers. Mr. Dailey also enjoyed watching NASCAR and football with his son. He was employed with Transmit PM LLC.
Survivors include his children, Brooke Callan DuPree (Chad) of Ft. Worth, TX and Landon Cole Dailey of Sylvester; parents, Bess and Jerry Meeks of Sylvester; sisters, Tabetha Dailey DuPriest of Sylvester and Tina Marie Neff of Royal Palm Beach, FL; brothers, Tom Dailey of Sylvester and Rick Dailey of Sylvester; nieces, Taylor DuPriest, Hannah DuPriest, Sydney Neff and Natalie Dailey; nephews, Chad Dailey, Andy Owsley and Ryan Dailey; fiancé, Holly Smith of Tifton and her children, Christopher and Caleb.
Mr. Dailey was preceded in death by his father, John Thomas Dailey, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Banks Funeral Home.
