Jim Bridges, Jr.

Mr. Jim Bridges, Jr., 54, of Sylvester died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at his residence. The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Isabella Baptist Church interment followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery.  Rev. Jason Jones officiated.
Mr. Bridges was born on November 11, 1963 in Worth County to Jimmie M. Bridges, Sr. and Thelma Hardin Bridges. He had lived in Worth County all of his life.  Mr. Bridges worked as an Industrial Mechanic for Coveris, Inc. in Tifton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR.  Mr. Bridges enjoyed animals, especially his parrots but the greatest love of his life was his family.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Bridges; son, Jason Bridges; daughter, Morgan Bridges, all of Sylvester; mother, Thelma Hardin Bridges of Sylvester; siblings, Derel Bridges (Terri) of Sylvester, Rex Bridges (Renee’) of Sylvester, George Bridges (Suzanne) of Albany, Douglas “Pug” Bridges (Penny) of Moultrie, Dawn Miller (Gene) of Sylvester, and Donna “Binky” Bridges of Sylvester along with a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie M. Bridges, Sr. on July 19, 2017. Pallbearers included Clint Watson, Kyle Bridges, Seth Bridges, Daniel Bailey, Jeffrey Hoglund, Clay Robinson and Charles Jones.
