Mack Patterson

Mr. Mack Junior Patterson, 71, of Worth County died on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Medical Center of Middle, Georgia. The funeral service was held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Sumner Cemetery. Rev. Mike Carter officiated.

Mr. Patterson was born on January 4, 1947 in Sylvester Georgia, to George Washington and Mildred Bozeman Patterson. He had lived in Worth County his whole life. Mr. Patterson was a successful farmer, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, baling hay, fishing, working with his horses and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mack had a deep love for life, and lived it to the fullest.

Survivors include his wife, Jeri Patterson of TyTy; son, Greg Patterson (Stephanie) of TyTy; daughters, Cindy Sutton (Keith) of Sumner, Lisa Patterson (Amy) of Cordele; mother, Mildred Patterson of Omega; step children, Sandra Littleton (Scott) of Phoenix, AZ, Lizzie Jones (Blaine) of Sylvester and Johnny White (Nicole) of Baconton; grandchildren, Ross Sutton, Shelby Sutton, Marley Sutton, Cole Patterson, Callie Patterson, Savannah Littleton, Colby Littleton, Remington Littleton, Cody Jones, Alley Jones, Haise Jones, Annabelle White, Abigale White, brother, Charles  Patterson; sister, Faye Slappey, Sandra Cannady, Linda Whittington.

Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his father, George Washington Patterson, and a brother, Winiford Patterson.

Pallbearers for the service included, Cole Patterson, Ross Sutton, Cody Jones, Colby Littleton, Clint Patterson, and Dawson Patterson.
