Barbara Spears

Mrs. Barbara J. Spears, 75, of Sylvester, died January 10, 2019 at her residence.

The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Poulan Cemetery. The Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiated.

Mrs. Spears was born on April 22, 1943 in Alabama to the late Merwin and Bernice Tidwell Duckworth. She has lived in Worth County since 1982 and was retired from Albany Anesthesia. Mrs. Spears was a member of the First Freewill Baptist of Sylvester.

Survivors include her husband Chip Spears of Sylvester; daughters Cindy Craven (Howard) of Leesburg, Teresa Bass (Graham Crosby) of Dahlonega; son, Michael Harrison of St. Louis Missouri; 3 step-sons, Kristopher, Clint, and Cory Spears; grandchildren, Mandy Hall Irvin, Austin Craven,III, Jason Bowen; brother, Tony Duckworth (Lee); sister, Pam Ayers (Sidney) and 7 great grandchildren.
