Mrs. Varnell Henderson, of Colquitt died Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Friday, March 1, 2019, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Vada, GA with Rev. Jimmy Hooks and Rev. Chad Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Brock Middleton, Keith Middleton, Dakota Middleton, Coty Middleton, Reid Carr and Connor Carr serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, 2019, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Colquitt Funeral Home.
Mrs. Varnell was a retired seamstress and a member of New Home Baptist Church in Vada, GA.
She is survuved by one son, Britt (Day) Henderson of Franklin, Tenn., two daughters, Jan (Carroll) Middleton of Colquitt and Judy (Bobby) Duke of Sylvester. Nine grandchildren, Donna Wolfe, Brock Middleton, Keith Middleton, Lynn Hathorn, Janell Brock, Leah Walker, Coty Middleton, Dakota Middleton, Hollan Henderson, Michelle Richards, and Jodi Brock. Thirteen great grandchildren, Deen Worley, Dane Worley, Chloe Chesser, Caroline Middleton, Rose Middleton, Merritt Middleton, Braylee Wells, Bowen Middleton, Anna Wolfe, Sadie Hathorn, Caleb Howard, Brody Walker, Kobe Strenth, Kaiden and Jaelyn.
