Mr. Lee Tompkins Jr., 89 of Sylvester, died on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at his residence.
The graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Pine Forest Cemetery.
Mr. Tompkins was born on November 17, 1929 in Moultrie, GA., to the late Elsie Lee and Lorene Causey Norman. He had lived in Worth County since 1990 and was retired from the Moultrie Manufacturing Company. Mr. Tompkins enjoyed gardening, cooking, and listening to music, but most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his children, Cheryl Lambert (John) of Sylvester; Craig Tompkins (Gladys) of Sylvester; 7 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Mr. Tompkins was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie Lee and Lorene Causey Norman.
