Angie Riner-Hoover

Mrs. Angie Riner-Hoover, 73, of Sylvester died Thursday, October 9, 2014 at her residence.

The funeral service was held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Cooper officiated.

Mrs. Hoover was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 28, 1941, to the late George and Thelma Clayton Riner. She lived all of her life in Worth County. Her passions were her garden and yard. Mrs. Hoover was a former Executive Director with the Sylvester/Worth County Chamber of Commerce and was a former member of the Rotary Club.  She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Stacey Blake (Bobby) of Sylvester, Sandi DeVane (Tim) of Poulan, Sharon  Singletary (Rocky) of McDonough; son, Rocky Hoover (Brooke) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Josh Blake, Amber Blake (Richard), Zack Denham, Jr., Lyndi Dunn (Trey), Adam Singletary, Andrew Singletary, Maggie Singletary, Joshua DeVane (Margaret), Jackson Hoover, and Avery Hoover; great-grandchildren, Landon Blake, Stryker Blake and Will DeVane; and sister, Bonnie Douthit of Elkton, KY.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hoover was preceded in death by a sister, Rene Riner.

Active pallbearers included Joshua Blake, Andrew Singletary, Adam Singletary, Zack Denham, Jackson Hoover, Trey Dunn and Richard Patton. Honorary pallbearers included Landon Blake and Stryker Blake.
