Berniece Marie Musser

Mrs. Berniece Marie Musser, 100, of Sylvester died Tuesday May 7, 2013 at Sylvester Health Care.
A Rosary Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with Father Justin R. Ferguson officiating. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday May 16, 2013 at the Blessed Junipero Serra Catholic Church in Quartz Hill, California with interment to follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Quartz Hill, CA.
Mrs. Musser was born on May 7, 1913 to the late Joseph and Josephine Lieb Stelpflug in Pocahontas, Iowa and lived in Sylvester. She was a homemaker, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and a great- grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelly McPhaul  (John) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Michelle M. Latona of Scottsdale, AZ, Stephanie L. Jager of Sylvester, Laura L. Reeves of Garden Grove, CA, Larry L. Musser of Victorville, CA and Leslie Curry of Downey, CA; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great, great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Musser was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Musser in 1998 and a son, Bill Musser.
The family will receive friends Tuesday immediately following the Rosary Service at Banks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Best Friends Humane Society of Worth County, P.O. Box 5894, Sylvester, GA 31791.
