CrossMOULTRIE – Betty Theresa Jones Doggett age 60 of Sylvester died Saturday February 14, 2015 at her residence. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Monday February 16, 2015 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Gardner officiating. Pallbearers will be Keith Jones, Kevin Jones, Timmy Jones, Randy Bennett, Billy Sullivan, Steve Sellars, Tim Strickland and Spencer Meeks. Burial will be in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-6 pm Sunday February 15, 2015 at Baker Funeral Home in Moultrie.
Born March 16, 2015 to the late Emory Julian Jones and Hilda Sellers Jones, she was the Office Manager with Gardner & Hydrick Veterinary Clinic of Sylvester and then Albany. She was of the baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Tony Jones and Larry Jones and a sister Margie Bennett.
She is survived by her husband Jerry R. Doggett of Sylvester, sons; Jake Averitt and wife Cindy of Hahira and Jason Doggett and wife Carrie of Tifton, brother; Terry Jones and wife Judy of Moultrie, sisters; Judy Jones of Metaririe, LA, Joyce Jones Sullivan and husband Bill of Barney and Susan “Sue” Jones Johnson and husband Carl of Moultrie, grandchildren; Ashleigh Averitt, John Averitt, Nicky Averitt, Hayley Doggett, Trent Doggett, Sarah Doggett and Travis Doggett, great grandchildren; Emma Averitt and Kayleigh Dasher.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home of Moultrie.
