Beverly Sue Madden

Mrs. Beverly Sue “Nana” Madden 73, of Sylvester, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Isabella Baptist Church, interment will follow in the Isabella Cemetery. The Rev. Jason Jones will officiate.

Mrs. Madden was born May 19, 1946 in Atlanta, GA., to the late Marcus Theron and Bernice Louise Woods Anderson. She had lived in Worth County since 1967 and was a homemaker. Mrs. Madden enjoyed cooking and was known for her famous Tomato Pie, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time her friends and family. She was a member of the Isabella Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Madden of Sylvester; daughter, Dawn Madden Nesbit (Shannon) of Leesburg; grandchildren, Brianna Nesbit and Daniel Richard Madden; daughter-in-law, Traci Madden (Milton Foster); brother, Michael Anderson; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Madden was preceded in death by her son, Richard Darrin Madden on February 18, 2008.

A special thank you for the loving support of the Isabella Baptist Church shown to them during this difficult time, to the Ladies of Phoebe Hospice, Dr. Adam Jones and Dr. Craig Jani.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
