Bill Williams

William E. “Bill” Williams passed away on October 10, 2015, from health complications. He was born on March 17, 1942 in Sylvester, Ga. and attended school in Sylvester and Bridgeboro. After moving several times for business, he settled in Pensacola in 1967. His greatest joy was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill also dedicated much of his life to promoting youth baseball, holding multiple positions in the Dixie Youth Baseball organization, including 25 years as a National Director. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Ellen Jackson and Brother, James Francis. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Margaret Evelyn Robertson, Brother Jack and Sisters Bettye Fielding and Lynn Gipson. Children; William E. II “Eddie” (Cerena), Janet Windham (Kevin), Brian “Keith” (Melissa), Casey Shane (Kerri), Kevin Edward (Brittney) Grandchildren; Josh Windham, Melissa Chambers, Samantha, Tyler Windham, William E. III “Billy”, Ryan, Paul, Lexi Windham, Hunter, Lexi, Bubba, Houston, Talan, Mason and Levi, Great grandchildren Avery Chambers, Bowen Chambers, Camden, Kinsley Windham, Kamden Windham and Bryson Windham. Visitation will be Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 11:00 am and funeral will follow at noon. Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534-9377. 850-479-9223
