Bobby Dewayne Griner

Mr. Bobby Dewayne Griner, 70, of Sylvester died Monday June 10, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery with Rev. Charles McCardle officiating.
Mr. Griner was born on September 14, 1942 to the late Ervan Dewey Griner and Alma Lorene Hall Austin in Sale City, GA. He lived in Worth County most of his life where he was a farmer and retired from Coats and Clark after 44 years. Mr. Griner loved his garden and was a member of the Poulan Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Shirley Weaver Griner of Sylvester; son, Dewayne Griner of Sylvester; daughters, Judy Lynn Griner of Sylvester and Leisa Turner (Cephus) of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Travis Wright, Justin Shiver, Tanner Wright, Dalton Shiver and Austin Shiver; sister, Patricia Butler of Newton.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Odom, Stanley Kennedy, Bob Pennington, James Morris, Jack Powell and John White.
