Bobby Eugene Rogers

Mr. Bobby Eugene Rogers, Sr., 71, of Worth County died Monday June 16, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Tempy Cemetery. Rev. Roger Tillery officiated.
Pallbearers included Dylan Rogers, Sugarman Doyle, Rocky Posey, Jason Price, Darrel Flanigan and Mike Jones.
Mr. Rogers was born on November 12, 1942 in Lee County to the late William Hallie and Annie Pearl Waters Rogers. He was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and lived in Worth County for the past 35 years. Mr. Rogers was formerly employed with Buffalo Rock for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and tending to his chickens. Mr. Rogers was a member of the Living Waters Church of God in Albany.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Doyle Rogers of Worth County; son, Eugene “Bubba” Rogers, Jr. (Melody) of Worth County; grandchildren, Kaitlin Bryce Rogers and Dylan Eugene Rogers.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Lynette Rogers.

Banks Funeral Home in Sylvester was in charge of the arrangements.
