Bobby Jean Patterson

Mrs. Bobbie Jean, “B.J.” Frasier Patterson, 82, of Sylvester, died on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Fellowship Personal Care Home.

The funeral service was held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Pine Forest Baptist Church, interment followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Trey Brown, Rev. Jason Jones and Rev. Brad Hughes officiated.  

Mrs. Patterson was born on March 9, 1937 in Donalsonville, GA., to the late L.C. and Trudie Mae Brooks Frasier.  She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was retired from the Farm Service Agency in Worth County. Mrs. Patterson was a very outgoing person and a loyal friend to her church members and neighbors. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Scott Patterson (Dee) of Sylvester, Gina Atchley (James) of Edison, Ga; grandchildren, Natalie Mitcham, Mallory Mitcham, Andrew Mitcham, Lane Mitcham, Luke Mitcham, Haley Shaw (Chris), Wesley Atchley (May), Bobby Atchley and Joanie Atchley; great grandchildren, Mally Shaw, Macie Shaw and Alex Atchley; brother, Gary Frasier (Marie).  

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Ralph Patterson; daughter, Tonya Patterson Mitcham; brother, L.W. Frasier.

The family of Mrs. Patterson would like to thank the Willow Wood Personal Care Home in Edison, Ga., and the Fellowship Personal Care Home in Cuthbert, Ga., for their loving support, friendship and care for their mother.
