Mr. Brian Willis, 54, of Albany died Monday, October 13, 2014 at his residence.
A memorial service was held at 11:00 AM on Friday October 17, 2014 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mike Davis officiated.
Mr. Willis was born in Tifton on October 13, 1960 to the late Max Clayton and Mary Virginia Davis Willis. He had lived in Worth County most of his life moving to Albany in 2006. Mr. Willis graduated from Worth Academy in 1978 and attended Daytona Beach Community College and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Atlanta Braves and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Mr. Willis loved his family, his Sylvester friends and especially his brothers. He was a member of Pinson Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Cobb Willis of Albany; sons, Burton Willis of Springfield, GA, Drew Willis (Ashley) of Huntsville, AL and Ashlyn Willis of Albany; grandson, Davis Willis of Huntsville, Al; brothers, Adam Willis and family of Athens, GA, Dr. Roger Willis and family of San Antonio, TX, Bruce Willis and family of Cumming, GA and Tracy Willis and family of Leesburg; sisters-in-law, Jeanie Norman and family of Glennville, Angela Clark and family of Claxton and several aunts
