Carol F. Furtado

Carol F. Furtado age 64 of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Bo Brand of Sylvester, GA, daughter, Bonnie Furtado of Augusta, GA, and son, Daniel Furtado of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Taylor Brand, Jack Brand, Chloe Brand, and Mason Highland; sisters, Vicki Guyton of Clayton, GA and Shelly (J.D.) Goff of Buford; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bonnie Jacobs.

Carol was born in Bradenton, FL, the daughter of John Walter and Carolyn (Sidwell) Foxworthy. She lived in the Atlanta area for the past 45 years. She worked as a Sales Representative for Atlanta Flooring Design. Carol was a doting grandmother who loved to fish and make everyone laugh.

Carol’s wishes were to be cremated. There are no services at this time. Memorial donations may be made to Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta 4355 Cobb PKWY SE Ste J PMB 21 Atlanta, GA 30339.
