Class of 2014 Graduation Information

Senior Final Exam Schedule:

May 20th 1st, 2nd & 3rd period exams

May 21th 4th & 5th period exams (will be given during 1st and 2nd period)

May 22nd 6th & 7th period exams (will be given during 1st and 2nd period)


Graduation Practice:

Graduation practice is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29 and 8:30 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014. Seniors must have all business cleared with the school prior to the first practice. This includes the return of all books and uniforms and all fees paid. Seniors may not return to WCHS campus following practice unless for official school business.


Graduation Exercise Schedule:

Graduation exercise will be Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. Your child should be at the Worth County High School football stadium by 7:15 a.m. for lineup and last minute instructions. In the event of rain, graduation will be held at the WCHS gym at 11:00 a.m. Due to limited seating in the gym, only four guests will be admitted for each senior.


Graduation Dress Code:

Girls: Black dress, black dress shoes (no flip flops). Dress should not show under the gown. Dress cannot be strapless or spaghetti straps. Be aware that walking in heels on the turf may be difficult so flat soled shoes may be preferable.

Boys: White shirt, dark tie, black dress pants, black dress shoes (no flip flops), and black socks.


Graduation Etiquette:


Behavior at the graduation ceremony should reflect the dignity of the occasion. Graduates should remain seated until the specified time. Parents and guests should respect the right of others to hear their senior’s name called and should remain quiet throughout the ceremony.


*Diplomas will be distributed at the field house immediately following the ceremony. Please pickup your diploma immediately following the ceremony. Failure to do so in a timely manner may result in delaying the pickup of your diploma to the following Monday during business hours.
