Donna Miller

Donna T. Miller, 72, of Lake Park, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at her residence. She was born on November 17, 1945 in Elberton, GA to the late Ben and Melba Gulley Teasley. Donna was a member of Lake Park United Methodist Church. She worked for the Lowndes County School system as a secretary. She attended Georgia Southern University for 3 years. Donna loved shopping, traveling, playing bridge, and spending time with family and friends.
Donna is survived by her husband Milt Miller, III, of Lake Park, her daughter Traci Miller and Mike Cothran, of Athens, her son and daughter-in-law Matt and Dana Miller, her mother-in-law Bettye Miller, of Louisville, KY, three grandsons Reed Miller, Mason Miller, and Will Miller, her sister-in-law Charlotte Huntington, of Louisville, KY, and some nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Lesa Bevars and her father-in-law Milt Miller, Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lake Park United Methodist Church with Reverend Isaac Salgado and Reverend Bob Ward officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A burial will take place on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Resthaven cemetery in Washington, GA. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation towards the American Cancer Society, 201 Pendleton Dr., Valdosta, GA 31602, or the Lake Park United Methodist Church Building Fund, PO Box 130, Lake Park, GA 31636.
