Connie Bozeman

Mr. Connie Bozeman, 66, of Scooterville died Friday January 15, 2016 at his residence.

The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Sunday January 17, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church interment followed in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mike Carter officiated.

Mr. Bozeman was born in Tifton on July 28, 1949 to the late H.J. “Bud”, Jr. and Dorothy Cross  Bozeman. He had lived in Worth County all his life and was a farmer and a retired independent truck driver. Mr. Bozeman enjoyed fishing, collecting knives and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sherryl Privette Bozeman of Scotterville; sons, Tim Bozeman (Amy) of Sale City, Ted Bozeman (Sandy) of Scooterville; daughter, Tanya “Sook” Grimsley (Michael) of Sylvester; grandchildren, David and Caitlin Cooper, Reece, Ragan and Rylan Bozeman, Justin and Jake Semrau, Michael Dylan Grimsley and Matt Grimsley; brothers, Kenny Ray Bozeman (Debbie) of Sylvester and Donald “Duck” Bozeman of Scooterville.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bozeman was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Bozeman on March 18, 2012.

Serving as active pallbearers were, Heath Cross, Tom Weaver, Kyp Knotts, Earl Manders, Blake Spradley and Nick Powell, honorary pallbearers included, Stacy Gunn, Keith Sutton and Jack Wood.
