Dustin Alexander Hammonds

Dustin Alexander Hammonds, 13, of Warwick died Monday December 16, 2013 at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta-Egleston.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 18, 2013 at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Richard McNair and Rev. Jerry Cooper officiating.

Dustin was an 8th grade student at Worth County Middle School where he played alto saxophone in the Middle School Band. He was a former Boy Scout in Troop #100 and a Duck Dynasty fan. Dustin had been to Universal Studios to see the Transformers and enjoyed video games.

Survivors include his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Brenda Hammonds of Warwick; brother, Austin Coalson of Baconton; maternal great-grandmother, Ida Mae Kilcrease of Sylvester; paternal great-grandmother, Helen Trent of Alamogordo, NM; uncle and aunt, Ronnie and Linda Kilcrease of Sylvester; uncle and aunt, Clifton anbd Cindy Hammonds of Whittman, AZ; aunt and uncle, Pamela and Ed Fox of Alamogordo, NM; and a very special aunt, Mindy Barakauskas of Louisville, KY.

Dustin was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly Rene’ Hammonds on February 23, 2002.

The family received friends immediately follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
