Earl Campbell Jr.

Earl Campbell Jr. passed away from bone cancer on Monday, June 3, 2013 at his home in Plant City, FL.  Earl was born June 7, 1945 to Earl and Eunice B. Campbell in Blue Ridge, GA. He was a truck driver for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his father; two step-fathers, Willard Clark and Alton Rice; and his first wife, Wanda Campbell.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Campbell; sons, John Campbell (Venetta) of Atlanta, GA and Adam Campbell (Faye) of Valdosta, GA;  daughter, Nikki Slappey of Orlando, FL; grandsons, Wayne, Jerry, Guy, and Bryce; granddaughter, Sadie; his mother, Eunice Rice of Mulberry, FL; sisters, Bobbie Jean Murray of Mulberry, FL and Brenda C. Hicks, of Troy AL; and brothers, Floyd Clark of Plant City, FL and Mike Clark of Morrisville, TN. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Wells Memorial and Event Center with a funeral service on Friday, June 7th at 10am at Wells Memorial. Burial will follow at FL National Cemetery in Bushnell. Memorial contributions may be made to the food bank at Southside Baptist Church, 250 Moses St., Mulberry, FL 33860.
