Edgar Kendall Crenshaw

Mr. Edgar “Kendall” Crenshaw, 63, of Oakfield died Tuesday March 11, 2014 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday March 14, 2014 at the US 19 Church of Christ with interment following in the Oakfield Cemetery. Minister Sam Hartline will officiate.
Pallbearers will include Robert Curry, Jr., Eddie Gaint, Danny Thornton, Bobby Thornton, Paul Alford and Charlie Curry.
Mr. Crenshaw was born on January 13, 1951 in Macon to the late Edgar Griffin and Lorine Stewart Crenshaw. He lived in Oakfield most of his life and was a graduate of Georgia South Western University. Mr. Crenshaw was a retired Postmaster with the Oakfield Post Office. He enjoyed reading and working on automobiles. Mr. Crenshaw was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and enjoyed Bible study.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Chaney Crenshaw of Oakfield; son, Corey Chaney of Albany; daughter, Kenica Chaney of Albany; grandchildren, Mickee, Iren, Dillion, Tristen, Mary, Dan’necia, Danny, Braylon and Zyien; sister, Anthoinette Posey (Lane) of Warwick; brothers-in-law, Bobby Thornton (Carolyn) and Danny Thornton; nephews, Mike, Jimmy, Steve and Jim; nieces, Donna and Lynn; two close friends companions, Robert “Bugg” Curry and Rodney “Buck” Leverette,  and a host of relatives and friends.
