Elizabeth G. Fletcher

Elizabeth G. Fletcher, Esq., 44, passed away on Saturday August 30, 2014 at her home in Fleming Island, FL. A graveside funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday September 5, 2014 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218.

Elizabeth was born in Brunswick, Georgia on April 12, 1970 to John & Linda Fridenmaker.  Elizabeth received her Juris Doctor degree in 1997 from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at The College of William and Mary in Virginia, and was a member of the American Bar Association as well as the Hawaii, Georgia and Virginia State Bar associations. She actively practiced law for 12 years before becoming disabled due to illness.  During the time she practiced law she was a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Hawaii and was later appointed as a Policy Analyst to the (now former) Governor of Hawaii.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 25 years, James M. “Jim” Fletcher, Jr.; her parents, John & Linda Fridenmaker of Perry, GA; her brother, John Fridenmaker (Nicole) of Orlando, FL; her grandmother, Lowana McClellan of Kingsland, GA; her mother & father-in-law, Louise & James M. Fletcher of Sylvester, GA; her sisters-in-law, Carla McDaniel (Mark) of Gautier, MS; & Jan Kimble (Joe) of Ocean Point, MS, as well as many extended family members and friends.
