Fannie Saylor Mikell Walls

Mrs. Fannie Saylor Mikell Walls, 82, of Warwick died Friday June 14, 2013 at Crisp Regional Hospital.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Monday June 17, 2013 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Warwick Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Scott officiating. Pallbearers included Joe VanHouter, Michael Holt, Daniel McElroy, Charles McElroy, Clay Smith and Jay Smith.
Mrs. Walls was born in Worth County on February 17, 1931 to the late Edgar Vernon and Mary Ellen McEntyre McElroy. She lived in Warwick since 1970 and was formerly employed with Manhattan Shirt Company and was also a caregiver. Mrs. Walls was a member of Assembly of God Church and the Ladies of Albany.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann S. Goss of Mountain City, GA; Glenda VanHouter of Americus and Dianne S. Levesque (Jim) of Wewahitchka, FL; son, Larry Saylor of Warwick; sisters, Melvina Saylor of Sumner, Alice Cox of Americus and Minnie Cox of Americus; brother, John H. McElroy of Plains; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Walls was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold L. Mikell on September 26, 1978 and Walter Walls; a son, Jimmy Saylor; and two grandchildren, Celeste Nichols and Amanda Jean Saylor.
The family received friends on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
