Gladys Portee Hall

Mrs. Gladys Portee Hall, 69, of Albany died Monday June 17, 2013 at The Willson Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held Friday 2PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Dr. Daniel Simmons will officiate.
Born in Sylvester, GA, Mrs. Hall lived in Albany most of her life where she retired from State Farm after 32 years of service. She was a long lasting member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served in the Usher and Food Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her parents Obediah Portee and Martha Brown Portee.
Survivors include her daughter, Valerie Jackson Jones and her husband Ken of Buford, GA; her twin granddaughters, Kyndal and Kristan Jones of Buford, GA; three sisters, Jurl P. Watkins of Albany, Freda P. Venisee of Albany and Brenda Portee Holmes and her husband Charles of Albany; and two brothers, Gordon Portee of Miami, FL and Ralph Portee and his wife Laurita of Ashton, Maryland.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Ln. Albany, GA 31707.
