Gladys Wells

Mrs. Gladys Sargent Wells, 80, of Sylvester died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Cobblestone Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Moultrie.
The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church of Albany with interment following in the Hillcrest Cemetery.  The Rev. Josh Bower officiated.
Mrs. Wells was born on June 20, 1937 in Cooperstown, NY to the late William B. and Lula Mae Weiland Sargent.  She had lived in Worth County since 1994.  Mrs. Wells was a homemaker who loved reading and sewing.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many.  Mrs. Wells was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Albany.
Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Jane Fulford (Tom) and Katie Wells, all of Sylvester; sons, William Wells (Jean) of Orlando, FL, Richard Gary Wells (Janine) of Jacksonville, FL, and Kevin Wells (Ronda) of Americus, GA; sisters, Virginia Colsimon (William) of Hastings, NY, and Donna Goodell (Chester) of St. Johnsville, NY; grandchildren, Christian (Erica), Elizabeth (Sam), Amanda (Earnest), Michael (Taylor), Jesse, Tiffany, Michael, Taylor, and Justin (Alison); great grandchildren, Emylie, Alexis, Abraham, Collin and Shelby along with her children of the heart.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Wells on September 3, 2008 and a brother, Charles Sargent.
