Jeffrey Beard, Jr.

A graveside service for Jeffery William Beard Jr. of Warwick will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Odom-Story Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Rainey Family Funeral Services.

Jeffery passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Navicent Health Center in Macon. He was born in Wieshaden, Germany and was the son of Jeffery W. Beard, Sr. and Marjorie McAfee Beard. He was a teacher (RET) and before his declining health, attended Acorn Pond Baptist Church.

He loved children and animals and enjoyed the fact that he could claim dual citizenship in the United States and Germany. Jeffery is survived by his mother, Marjorie Beard; a brother, Clifton Beard; and a niece, Christina Beard, all of Warwick. Arrangements are by Rainey Family Funeral Services.
