Miss Jessica Diane Cooper, 28, of Sumner died Monday June 24, 2013 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on July 1, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Greene, Rev. Randolph Pate and Ms. Trisha Kitchens officiating. Miss Cooper was born on July 29, 1984 in Albany and lived in Worth County all of her life. During high school she was a member of the Worth County High School marching band and loved to play the flute. Miss Cooper attended Albany Technical College and was formerly employed with B. C. Moores in Cordele as a sales associate. She was a member of the Solid Rock Congregational Holiness Church and loved animals.
Survivors include her mother, Katrina “Regina” Cooper of Sumner; father, Jason David Cooper; sisters, Danielle Hurst (Blake) of Nashville, Deedre Lewis (Robert) of Bonaire, and Cameron Bozeman of Sumner; maternal grandparents, Franklin and Patricia Kirksey of Doerun; paternal grandparents, James and Joyce Cooper of Shingler; nephews, LeLand Cooper and Aidyn Hurst, and a number of aunts and uncles.
