Linda Suggs

Mrs. Linda Williams Suggs, 65, of Turner County died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her residence.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Poulan Cemetery.  Rev. Kirk Lavender and Rev. Rocky Duckworth officiated.
Mrs. Suggs was born on February 13, 1953 in Sylvester to Coy and Ruby Williams.  She lived in the Southwest Georgia all her life.  Mrs. Suggs helped feed many children as a Cafeteria Worker with the Tift County School System.  She enjoyed quilting, fishing and cooking.  Mrs. Suggs was a giving person who was always willing to help others when she could.  She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Suggs was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her children, Melvin Suggs of Ashburn, Kim Lavender (Kirk) of Ashburn and Tonya McMurphy (Shane) of Poulan; grandchildren, Laykin Jordan (Joe), Reid Duckworth, Layah Duckworth, Mary Grace Lavender, Eliana Duckworth and Anna Lavender; great-grandchildren, Bentley and Ryleigh Jordan and Graylee Jordan; parents, Coy and Ruby Williams of Poulan along with a number of extended family members and dear friends.
Mrs. Suggs was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Melvin Tracy Suggs, Sr. on January 27, 2016 and her brothers, Billy Williams and Jimmy Williams.
Pallbearers included Reid Duckworth, Joe Jordan, Shane McMurphy, Adam Lavender, Steve Suggs, Charles Willingham, Bruce Burgess and Blake Suggs.
