Margie McDonald McCrary

Mrs. Margie McDonald McCrary, 89, of Sylvester died Tuesday January 5, 2016 at Pruitt Health Sylvester.

The funeral service was held at 3:00 PM on Saturday January 9, 2016 at Antioch Baptist Church interment followed in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bruce Gordon will officiated.

Mrs. McCrary was born in Worth County on September 15, 1926 to the late Preston Lemuel and Jewell Davis McDonald. She had lived in Worth County all her life. Mrs. McCrary was formerly employed with Coats and Clark and retired from Sylvester Textile. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard and cooking. Mrs. McCrary was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include son, Robin McCrary (Kim) of Bridgeboro; daughter, Cherry M. Dailey (Richard) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Monica Williams (Dwayne), Chad Dailey; great grandchildren, Peyton Norman, Charlee Norman, Brittany Barker (Tyler), Ashlyn Dailey; great great granddaughter, Kinsley; sister, Shirley West (Oz) of Orlando, FL; brothers, Rex McDonald of Montezuma and Wendell McDonald (Flo) of Ocilla.

Pallbearers included, Steve McDonald, Dennis James, Tony Wiggins, Ken McDonald, Randal James and Paul Bryan.
