Mary Banks Spurlin, age 83, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018.
She is survived by children, Daphne and Dan Reilly, Lawrenceville, GA, Charles and Yvette Spurlin, Dacula, GA, Thomas and Kathy Spurlin, Sylvester, GA, Russell and Dana Spurlin, Sylvester, GA, Robert Golden, Clearwater, FL, Melanie Kirkbride, Port Richey, FL; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Sidney and Lester Davis, Columbus, GA, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Spurlin was born on July 29, 1934 in Tifton, GA. She was a 1952 graduate of Tift County High School and a 1954 graduate of ABAC College in Tifton with an Associate’s degree. Mrs. Spurlin was a retired bank teller from Wells Fargo, also known as Wachovia, in Lilburn, GA. She was an avid Braves fan and UGA Bulldog fan.
No memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Best Friend Humane Society, 787 Ephesus Church Rd, Poulan, GA 31781 in memory of Mary Spurlin.
