Otis T. Eady

Mr. Otis T. Eady, 90, of Ty Ty died Wednesday June 5, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday June 8, 2013 at Pine Hill Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Wright and Mr. Scott Hullett will officiate.
Mr. Eady was born on September 14, 1922 to the late George Washington and Claudia Ellen Spillers Eady in Worth County where he lived all his life. He was a United States Navy Veteran of WW II and a mechanic for Worth County Ford and Bryan’s Alignment. Mr. Eady was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church, the Adult Sunday School Class and maintained the church grounds.
Survivors include his children, Juanita E. Hullett (Johnny) of Tifton, Bobby Eady (Teresa) of Sylvester and Bill Eady (Myrtle) of Poulan; sister, Dorothy Adams of Albany; grandchildren, Scott Hullett (Lori), Stephen Hullett (Brooke), Jason Eady (Marticia), Cindy Powell (Ronnie) and Shane Brown (Gini); great-grandchildren, Abby Eady, Shelby Arnett, Seth Eady, Madison, Mackenzie and Macy Hullett, Dustin Beaty , Lindsey Powell, Houser Hullett and Lane; and sister-in-law, Ima Patterson of Sylvester.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Eady was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bassett Eady on October 15, 2009 and a grandson, Jeffrey Eady on November 10, 2011.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Kenneth Brooks, Jerry Jones, Ralph Causey, Anthony Guarnieri, Jamey Hartsfield, Lawrence Young and Waymon Hullett. Honorary pallbearers include John and Katherine Apperson, Ruth Thompkins and family, JC and Betty Gaddy, Dottie Williams, Geneva Causey, Joyce C. Smith, Harold and Latrelle Patterson, Tommy and Voncile Wilks and Mildred and Walt Turner.
