Patricia “Pat” Thaggard Weaver

Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Thaggard Weaver, 73, of Sylvester died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at her residence.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Rocky Mount Baptist Church with interment following in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Weaver was born in Colquitt County on February 4, 1941 to the late William Audrey and Kate Grier Thaggard.  She had lived in Worth County since 1965 and retired from Coats & Clark after 40 years as a fork lift operator.  She enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, riding four wheelers and horseback riding.  Mrs. Weaver was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jake “J. C.” Weaver; son, Joey Weaver (Melissa); daughter, Angie Bryan (Stacy) all of Sylvester; grandchildren Zach Weaver, Scott Weaver (Shelby), DeWayne Weaver, Zachary Knight, Clint Bryan (Jaci), Stephen Bryan (Rachel); great-grandchildren Remington “Gage” Bryan, Emma Rae Bryan; sisters, Juanita Hall (Richard), Evelyn Thaggard,  Vivian Ketterson Mary Helen Barfield (Maurice).

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by two brothers, Clinton Thaggard and Wandell Thaggard. Please sign our online guest registry at www.banksfh.com. Banks Funeral Home in Sylvester is in charge of arrangements.
