Reva LaMerle Reese

Mrs. Reva LaMerle Reese, 75, of Albany died Sunday March 9, 2014 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center.
The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Joe Brown officiated.
Mrs. Reese was born on February 12, 1939 to Wiley Jordan and Ella Pearl Hull Pate in Wedowee, Al. She lived in Worth County since 1980 after moving here from Columbus.  Mrs. Reese was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, growing flowers and keeping her grandchildren.  She enjoyed listening to country and gospel music.
Survivors include her husband, William J. “Bill” Reese of Albany; daughter, Lynn Tomlinson (Kenneth) of Albany; son, Michael J. Reese of Albany; grandchildren, Kyndall Tomlinson, Haley Reese, Reva Faye Reese, Allison Nichole Peak and Michael James Reese, Jr; brother, John C. Pate of Wedowee, AL; sisters, Eva Casteel of Phenix City, AL, Ida Waters of Columbus, and Myrtice Brockwell of Ellerslie, GA.
Mrs. Reese was preceded in death by her son, Danny Reese on August 31, 1997.
The family received friends on Tuesday March 11, 2014 from 2 p.m. until the service hour.
