Sarah Irvin Eason, 51, of Terrell County, GA, died December 9, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services was held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Greenbriar Church. Rev. Ken Irvin and Rev. Tim Bice officiated.
A native of Camilla, GA, Sarah grew up in Albany, GA, graduated from Albany High School in 1980 and moved to Sasser, GA in 2003. She was formerly employed with Liberty National Life Insurance Company and The Albany Herald and was a consistent top producer for both companies. Sarah was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Trace Norris and her father, Kenneth Coleman Irvin.
Survivors include her husband, James F. (Jim) Eason of Terrell County, GA, a daughter and her husband, Shanna and Curt Scott and a son and his wife, Jason and Kasey Norris all of Albany, GA, her mother, Jackie Smith and her husband, Ervin of Jasper, GA, her step-mother, Merle Irvin of Newton, GA, three sisters and their husbands, Carol and Steve Docalavich of Alpharetta, GA, Kristi and Bobby Canecchio of Cumming, GA and Natalie and Eddie Dixon of Albany, GA, a brother and his wife, Ken and Emily Irvin of Kentwood, LA and her grandchildren, Annabelle Scott, Luke Scott, Susan Scott, Clara Scott, Nathan Norris and Collins Norris.
The family is at the residence of Shanna and Curt Scott, 2208 East Doublegate Drive, Albany, GA, 31721.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Greenbriar Church, 3404 Gillionville Rd., Albany, GA, 31721.
