Sue Hall Whittington

CrossMrs. Sue Hall Whittington, 75, of Sylvester died Saturday, April 4, 2015 at her residence.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Craig Dozier and Rev. Don Hadden officiated.
Mrs. Whittington was born in Geneva, AL on January 5, 1940 to the late William Amber and Pearl May Hadden Hall. She had lived in Worth County since 1981. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, fishing and loved to cook. She was formerly employed with the Worth County Board of Education at Sylvester Elementary School in the lunch room. She was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Cecil P. Whittington of Sylvester; daughter, Deborah “Debi” Faulkner (John) of Mt. Joy, PA; son, Thomas Wade Whittington (Rhonda) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Matthew Whittington, Madison Faulkner, Tyler (T.J.) Faulkner and Jeanna Pearl Faulkner; siblings, Virgil Hall of Smith, AL, Joe Hall of Columbus, GA, Bill Hall of Columbus, GA, Jerry Hall of Dothan, AL , Catherine Strickland of Dothan, AL, Helen Girouard of Dothan, AL and Sharon McCall of Dothan, AL.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Whittington was preceded in death by three siblings.
