On Tuesday at 5:22 p.m., SPD Drug Agents and officers arrested a black male, Malcolm Thomas age 22, at 149 Town Creek Drive for possession of marijuana more than an ounce. He was also charged with possession of a firearm while in commission of a crime and possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute. Marijuana was recovered from the shirt pocket of Thomas and a hidden shoe box in the residence. Thomas was arrested and transported to Sylvester police department. He was booked and placed in the Worth Co jail. He posted a $10,000 yesterday and was released. Police seized two pounds of marijuana and a 9mm firearm from the residence.
