Terrie S. Pate

Mrs. Terrie S. Pate, 51, of Sylvester died Friday July 25, 2014 at her residence.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM on Sunday July 27, 2014 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Etheredge and Rev. Randolph Pate will officiate.

Mrs. Pate was born on February 1, 1963 in Augusta and had lived in Worth County for the past 25 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mrs. Pate enjoyed camping and going to the beach.

Survivors include her husband, Mitch Pate of Sylvester; daughter, Joann Pate (Wayne Howard) of Sylvester; son, Adam Pate (Katie Kelly) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Maddie Howard and Mitchell Pate, Jr. both of Sylvester; mother, Joan Usry Powers (Bob) of North Augusta; sister, Carol S. Rollins (Nicky Williams) of North Augusta; father-in-law, Thomas Pate of Sylvester; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters in law.

Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by her father, Memford O. “Bo” Simpson and her mother-in-law, Daphine H. Pate.
