Tracy Suggs

Mr. Tracy Suggs, 65, of Ashburn died Wednesday January 27, 2016 at his residence.

The funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Friday at Banks Funeral Home Chapel, interment followed in the Poulan Cemetery. The Rev. Rocky Duckworth and Rev. Kirk Lavender officiated.

Mr. Suggs was born on October 23, 1950 in Worth County to the late Miles Jewett and Eunice Wade Suggs. He had lived in Worth and Tift Counties most of his adult life, moving to Turner County 12 years ago. Mr. Suggs was formerly employed with Avondale Mills and attended New Prospect Primitive Baptist Church in Turner County. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Linda Williams Suggs of Ashburn; son, Melvin Suggs of Ashburn;  daughters, Kim Lavender (Kirk) of Ashburn, Tonya Duckworth (Rocky) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Laykin Jordan (Joe), Reid Duckworth, Layah Duckworth, Mary Grace Lavender, Ellie Duckworth and Anna Lavender; great grandchildren, Bentley and Ryleigh Jordan; brothers, Curtis Suggs (Margaret) of Tifton, Rayford Suggs (Anita) of Tifton; sister, Carolyn Bentley of Sumner; father and mother-in-law, Coy and Ruby Williams of Poulan and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers included, Steve Suggs, Mickey Bentley, Joe Jordan, Scott Suggs, Reid Duckworth and Charles Willingham.
