Wayne Fowler

Mr. Wayne “Cat” Fowler, 83, of Sylvester died Monday October 28, 2015 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center.

A graveside service was held at 1:00 PM on Thursday October 1, 2015 at the Red Oak Cemetery. The Rev. Grady Morey officiated.

Mr. Fowler was born in Worth County on May 18, 1932 to the late John Washington and Eliza Florence Ford Fowler. He lived in Worth County most of his life and was an automotive technician with Volkswagen of Albany.

Survivors include his son, Danny Fowler (Mary) of Byron; grandchildren, Ashley Thomas, Logan Fowler; great grandchildren, Griffin Thomas, Weylin Thomas, Kanley Thomas and several nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Sara Patel, Tammy Holloway and Dr. Bass of Phoebe Worth Medical Center for going above and beyond the call of duty and thank you to all the other nurses.

Serving as pallbearers were Will Grimes, Chris McDonald Gaebler, David Fowler, DeWayne Fowler, Jason Fowler and Trent Ealey; honorary pallbearers included, Larry McDonald, Rusty McDonald, Jeff Gaebler and Tony Fowler.
