Willie Mae Langdale

CrossNorth Augusta, SC—Funeral Services for Mrs. Willie Mae Langdale, 85, of Cherokee Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest January 22, 2015, were conducted Saturday, January 24 at 2 o’clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Denny Haston and Rev. Kyle Poole officiated. Interment was in Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Langdale was a native of Worth County, Georgia, having made North Augusta her home for the past 62 years. She was a member of the Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Langdale retired from K-Mart and was a former “Pink Lady” volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.G. Langdale and a son, Michael Iverson Langdale.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Kathy Langdale, Graniteville, Glenn and Lisa Langdale and Carroll Langdale all of North Augusta; four grandchildren, Jason (Janie) Langdale, Nicole (Brandon) Flynt, Travis Langdale and Benjamin Langdale; two great grandsons; two brothers, Grady Duckworth, Poulan, Georgia and Eugene Duckworth, Albany, Georgia; three sisters, Louise Gunn, Plant City, Florida, Marie Hudson, Sylvester, Georgia and Betty Gunter, Lakeland, Florida.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 until 8.
