Jimmy L. “Shorty” Chambless, Jr.

Mr. Jimmy L. “Shorty” Chambless, Jr., 56, of Sylvester died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his residence. The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Banks Funeral Home. Rev. Cathy Johnson officiated.
Mr. Chambless was born on October 12, 1961 in Sylvester to the late Jimmy Lewis Chambless, Sr. and Betty Webb Chambless.  He had lived in Poulan most of his life.  Mr. Chambless was a self employed carpenter who was very skilled at his trade.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to concerts.  Mr. Chambless enjoyed many things in life but his greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Elyse Chambless of Lawrenceville, GA and Brett Chambless of Poulan; grandchildren, Kaiden Chambless, Kinsley Deck and Gavin Chambless; along with a number of cousins, aunts, uncles and good friends.
